Overview

When a standup meeting takes place at the Kanban board and it's working really well, what is really happening? More than just team members keeping each other informed, that's for sure! Beginning with the basics of Kanban as a highly effective coordination system, we'll look deeply into what it all means for the team and the wider organisation.

Workshop Title

What Lies Beneath

Overview

Welcome to the weird and wonderful world of constraints! Here we'll be looking at them not only as impediments to flow, but as what – for good as well as ill – makes the organisation what it is. This 90-minute workshop features two classic exercises from the Agendashift / Leading with Outcomes stable, Areas of Opportunity and Full Circle. We'll then take a dive into complexity land with a much more recent exercise, Constraints Club, then Dave Snowden's Estuarine Framework, and finish with hypotheses and experiments.
