Shweta manages Product Development and support for IBM Data Management Products in IBM India Software Labs. She is an accomplished professional with Senior Management and Leadership experience of 25+ years in the IT industry and with IBM for last 20+ years. Her current focus lies in developing watsonx.data product. Watsonx.data is an IBM flagship product is based on open data formats and optimised for governed data and AI workloads.

Shweta has a remarkable track record of building high-performing teams that span multiple continents, fostering a culture of diversity and multi- functionality. Her proficiency in product design and architecture stands out, and she consistently exhibits a strong drive to stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends to ensure the success of her organization.

In 2021, she was also awarded the “Women in AI leadership” by Analytics India Magazine for being an AI advocate and her expertise in Data Science.

Shweta has a master’s degree in Business Management along with an Engineering Degree. In her free time, she loves to listen to music and read. She is also an avid animal lover and participates in various initiatives to protect animals.
