Swami Nityasthananda is a senior monk of the Ramakrishna Math & Mission and currently the Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Math, Bengaluru. He previously served as Adhyaksha of Ramakrishna Mission, Mysuru, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission, Davanagere, and as an Acharya at the Brahmacharis’ Training Centre for five years.

He has authored many books in Kannada, translated numerous works from English to Kannada, and was the first editor of the Kannada monthly Vivek Prabha. His articles in English and Kannada have appeared in Prabuddha Bharata, Vedanta Kesari, and other leading magazines.
