Culture Hack# - Decision Filters

Overview

Decision Filters are mnemonic structures to encourage appropriate behavior aligned to values. Decision filters are a coaching tool, to enable changes in the normative behavior from leaders. The session focuses on what are decision filters, why we need decision filters and how to implement decision filters in the organization. It also looks at the agile and lean decision filters and how they can help teams to manage their work decisions more effectively. The necessity for having decision filters is discussed through the concept of cognitive load, construal levels, psychological distance and the Einstellung Effect. Some examples of decision filters are also discussed.
